Detailed Modules & Topics

Module 1: Foundations of Visual Communication

Introduces students to the principles that define strong visual design form, color, balance, and hierarchy. Using both analog sketching and digital tools, students explore composition and learn to communicate ideas visually through research, iteration, and critique.

Module 2: Typography & Information Design

Guides students through the anatomy and expressive potential of type. They’ll practice grid-based layouts and design systems for print and digital contexts, culminating in projects that transform data into clear, visually engaging narratives.

Module 3: Branding & Identity Systems

Explores how strategy and storytelling shape brand identities. Students will develop comprehensive branding packages from concept and logo creation to full visual identity systems using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.

Module 4: Interaction & Digital Design (UX/UI)

Transitions design thinking to interactive media. Learners will wireframe, prototype, and design intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile platforms using Figma or Adobe XD, applying accessibility and responsive design principles.

Module 5: Professional Practice & Capstone

Focuses on preparing for professional entry. Students refine their personal portfolios, learn presentation techniques, and produce a final capstone project that represents their design philosophy and creative voice.

Working together was a dream — the creativity, attention to detail, and ability to bring our vision to life was beyond impressive. The final design elevated our brand in ways we couldn’t have imagined.
